12 years ago... A change and a passion leads to Painted Pastimes
I have been lucky enough to become an entrepreneur who turned a family passion into a successful home decor gift business. After graduating college with a degree in marketing I climbed the ladder to become marketing manager of a well known home decor company. Then I was faced with the tough decision that many women are forced to confront. Continue my career or stay home with my two boys. I enjoyed and was proud of my job, but loved the thought of being home with the boys as they grew. When they were off to school I was again faced with a decision. Re-enter the work force, or take my artistic talents and what I had learned in the marketplace and begin the next chapter of my life. Painted Pastimes was born. It has evolved over the last 17 years into what it is today. A sports home decor company with some of the most unique gifts you will find anywhere. I have developed a strong and loyal following and am constantly tweaking my line to add more sports and provide gifts and home accents for people who love sports, a great conversation piece and a quality product. I am very pleased to share all of those products with you here.
